Three staff members of Amrita University (India) visited the University of Twente on the 29th of November to explore possibilities for cooperation.
Amrita University is committed to increase her social impact by using science for humanitarian relief, and by incorporating scientific knowledge for the benefit of local communities. One of the areas for collaboration will be to enhance the attention for gender equality and women’s empowerment, and inclusion of vulnerable groups, by making these elements part of the innovation process of all innovation projects supported by the Relief base. Other topics for collaboration between Amrita and the Relief Base were ‘sanitation, hygiene and health’; and ‘drones and unmanned cargo aircrafts’.
